Florence 2018: Crossing the Ponte Vecchio at night

My parents and I continued along our scenic route as we slowly made our way back towards our apartment in Florence and we decided to cross the Arno River at the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. It was getting dark when we got to the bridge and all the jewelry shops that cover the Ponte Vecchio had turned their lights on. We spent a few minutes window shopping and taking in the scene before continuing on our way. I’m planning on writing up a second post about the Ponte Vecchio on another day with some of the history of the bridge, so today I’m just going to share a bunch of photos that I took while walking across it.
