Hakodate 2019: Yamanouedai Shrine (山上大神宮)

In the area northwest of Motomachi is Yamanouedai Shrine. My AirBnB host had suggested I check out this shrine if I was in that part of Hakodate and I stopped by for a quick visit. Like Funatama Shrine, Yamanouedai is a pleasant little shrine built on the slope of Mt Hakodate. The street leading up to the shrine is a bit steep but on the plus side at the top of the shrine you have a long line of sight down the slope to the harbor.
