I spent two nights on Rebun Island and the place I stayed at was a guesthouse called Pension U-NI-. Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos of Pension U-NI- other than my room and the view out the window, so for today’s post I’ve included some images of it that I found online. I found Pension U-NI- when I was using Google Maps to look around the small town next to Rebun Island’s ferry port and it became one of my favorite accommodations for my entire 2019 trip. The room I reserved was the cheapest one they offered and only one of the staff spoke much English but I had a really good experience there. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure I was being taken care of and the food was great. If I’m ever able to return to Rebun I’ll definitely be staying there again.
Great post 😁

I envy you for being able to visit this really remote part of Japan. 🙂

It takes a while to reach places like Rebun Island but it’s worth the effort to get out there. Hopefully one day you’ll be able to visit it yourself.
