That night I was in northern Seoul again and I found myself back at Gwanghwamun Plaza. While much of the plaza area was now dark, the statues of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Sejon were illuminated and I got a photo of each as I passed them by. A lot of lights were shining brightly from the north end of the plaza and when I got there I found that they were coming from what looked like a stage for a concert. As I would learn the next day, a small K-pop venue was being set up at Gwanghwamun Plaza and it looked like that night the engineers were testing all the stage lights.
