After spending some time hanging out at Seoul Tower I walked down to Myeong-dong to get some street food for dinner. Myeong-dong is one of Seoul’s main commercial areas and at night countless neon and LED lights brighten its streets. Every afternoon one of the major shopping boulevards becomes lined with street food vendors that serve hungry visitors and on this night I was walking up and down the street, trying out various offerings from all the stalls. Among other things, I ate some BBQ pork, a twisty potato, a cheese and sausage dog, honey ice cream bread, and an egg bread bun.
As I was leaving Myeong-dong I felt a couple drops of water hit the top of my head. A storm was at the gates of Seoul and the next day would see on-and-off rain.
