Kanazawa 2019: Omicho Market (近江町市場)

As I arrived in the central part of Kanazawa the rain started coming down again and I ducked into the Omicho Market to dry off. Omicho has been around since 1721 and it houses over 170 individual stores that primarily sell seafood, produce, cookware, and flowers. There are also a few restaurants within the market that tend to get busy around midday. I didn’t buy anything from the market but I did enjoy walking around and seeing everything that was on display. When I saw that the rain was letting up outside I exited the market to visit other parts of Kanazawa.
