Last week was my four-year anniversary on Twitter. Honestly, I wouldn’t have known this if Twitter hadn’t told me. For four years I’ve been on the Twitter platform, mostly observing the tweets of others while giving a few likes and retweets from time to time. My own tweets have historically been few and far between, but as I stated earlier this month I’ve started tweeting out notable writing pieces as well as screenshots from games I’ve played in an effort to get more comfortable with self-promotion. When I signed up for Twitter four years ago I don’t think I had any real plans for my account other than as a source of information and amusement. Now, four years later, I think I’m actually starting to use Twitter the way it was intended.
