A new writing record!

Apologies for tooting my own horn today, but I checked the word count of yesterday’s Italy 2018 travelogue story and I have officially broken my previous record for the longest writing piece that I’ve posted online. Yesterday’s post was 7,203 words long, not including the title. Previously the record for my longest post was held by my personal observations of the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation saga, which was 6,466 words long. I always have a celebratory gif for posts like today’s that commemorate online writing milestones and this time I’ve chosen a gif of the character Bender from the TV show Futurama.
