March 2019: Nice, France

It’s the first day of month and that means I’ve updated the header image at the top of this website. For the month of March 2019 I’m featuring a panoramic shot of the city of Nice, France. Located on France’s southern shore, Nice is one of the main cities of the French Riviera, also known as the “Cote d’Azure” in French. I was in Nice back in September 2015 and I took this photo with my phone up on Mont Boron, a hill towards the eastern end of town. You can see most of the city from the lookout point on the hill and there’s also a nice park up there too. The day that I took this photo it was a bit cloudy but the weather cleared up the next two days I was in Nice and I was able to take a dip in that azure water before leaving the city.
