Seven-Year Writing Anniversary

Today, March 26, 2019, is my seven-year anniversary of writing online. All the way back on March 26 of 2012 I published my first post on my old blog, progresoperegrino.blogspot.com. Originally it was merely my intention to just blog about my 2012 backpacking trip across Europe but in the months and years afterwards I slowly broadened my horizons to write about subjects as diverse as gaming, politics, movies, personal stories, anime, and even food recipes. These days I’ve found something of a familiar flow in writing primarily about travel and gaming, but perhaps one day I’ll shake things up again and try to pivot towards some new topics. Whatever the case, the past seven years have been very productive in terms of online writing and I look forward to whatever the future holds for me. I’d also like to take a moment and say thanks to the small group of people who regularly visit this blog and check out the things I publish. Whether you’re one of the few people who have been following my writings since the beginning or if you’re a recent follower it means a lot to me that you’d take time out of your day to visit my little website.
