Siena Italy Cathedral Museum

We stepped out of the cathedral to find the rain was still coming down, but we didn’t have to go far to reach our next destination. On the southeast side of the cathedral are the remains of an unfinished addition to the building that now houses the cathedral’s museum. The museum holds artwork from various Italian Renaissance artists along with sculptures and stained glass that were removed from the cathedral’s facade for preservation. In my opinion, however, the best part of the cathedral museum is that you can step out onto the roof of the unfinished section of the cathedral, and I’ll show photos of that next time.
