It’s the first day of the month and that means I’ve updated the header image at the top of this website. For the month of July I’m featuring a photo from San Francisco, California. This particular photo was taken in 2006 on one of the beaches just south of the Golden Gate Bridge. I’ve visited San Francisco many times in my life, with the most recent stop being in 2015 when I attended that year’s PlayStation Experience, and even though the city has sadly been experiencing a growing list of problems over the past 10 to 15 years I still have a certain fondness for it. As a child and a teenager I remember there were always lots of cool things to see and do in San Francisco, one of which being to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Most bridges aren’t overly interesting but there’s something about this massive orange bridge that strangely resonates with me. If I ever find myself back in San Francisco again I’ll likely pay the Golden Gate Bridge another visit, or at least see it from a distance like in today’s photo.
Baker Beach. Photo taken by Ricardopedia’s dad (his name is not Dad O’Pedia).
