Tokyo 2017: Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館)

On my third full day in Tokyo I started out in Ueno Park and after exploring the park for a while I paid a visit to the Tokyo National Museum at the park’s north end. The museum has a large collection of art and historical artifacts from Japan’s past, as well as from other parts of Asia. I think I spent about two hours checking out everything that was on display and I can say that the Tokyo National Museum is definitely one of the best museums you can visit in Japan.
