by Today I’m taking a quick break from publishing travel posts in order to commemorate my online writing anniversary. Eight years ago today I published my very first blog post on my old website, progresoperegrino.blogspot.com (which is still online today). Back on March 26, 2012 I began my blogging journey and at the time I didn’t think it was going to last long. The original purpose of that blog was to write about my 2012 expedition across Europe and after that trip I published posts on various topics from time to time, but I was far from consistent and there were long stretches where I didn’t write anything. Eventually I got more committed to blogging and now I’m here, eight years later, with a new blog and a fairly regular publishing schedule. Thanks to everyone who has been reading these posts over the years, and hopefully next year I’ll be able to celebrate a ninth writing anniversary.
