Once I finished at the Jaman Mural Village I decided I’d circle back towards the Jeonju Hanok Village by walking along the Jeonjuchun River. There are paved paths on either side of the river and there’s also a bicycle rental shop for anyone wanting to go for a ride.

At one point I passed by a series of stones that normally would allow people to cross from one side of the river to the other. The river unfortunately was flowing too high that day and had submerged the pathway.

Further down the river I came to Namchungyo Bridge. This seemed like a good place to return to street level, so after taking a few photos I climbed the stairs back up to the road.

On top of Namchungyo Bridge there’s a pavilion called Cheong-Yeonlu. It’s got a nice view of the river area and I took a five-minute break there before resuming my walk through Jeonju.
