On my way back towards Naha I stopped for a short visit at Mibaru Beach. Located on the southeastern shore of the island, Mibaru is about a kilometer long and is often busy during the summer but when I was there in mid-October it was largely empty. The beach conditions were a mix of good and bad with both large areas of nice, soft sand and areas that were full of small chunks of coral. I didn’t have a lot of time to spend at Mibaru but I wanted to stop at one last beach before returning to Naha.
