Kyoto 2019: Walking through northwest Kyoto

After leaving Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple I walked across northwest Kyoto towards my next sightseeing destination, which will be the topic of tomorrow’s post. The walk was about 1.25 km total and took me through a quiet part of the city, full of houses and patches of farmland. Kyoto isn’t my first choice of places to live in Japan, but if was living there I’d choose one of the further out areas like this one where I wouldn’t have to worry about the noise and traffic of the tourist crowds.
