When I finished exploring the area around the Higashi Chaya District I started on my way towards the central part of Kanazawa. As I was crossing the Asano River I couldn’t help but notice that some of the trees along the river still had autumn colors on them and I detoured to take a closer look. Some of the trees were past their peak colors but others had various shades of red and orange. One of the things I really appreciate about many Japanese towns is their dedication to landscaping and creating beautiful areas for people to live in and visit.
