Down on the southern shore of Enoshima is a long stretch of flat rocks at the water’s edge. On calm days visitors can walk around this area during low tide but unfortunately the rocks were closed on the day I visited because of the storm that was passing through. I’ve read online that this is a popular place to watch the sun go down and at certain times of the year local fishermen can be found here casting their lines into the sea.
