Japan-Korea 2019: Potential Departure Date Set

I still don’t know if my journey to Japan and Korea can happen this year but I’ve been doing some research and I’ve settled on a departure date in case the trip becomes feasible. Should my schedule get confirmed I will be leaving on Tuesday, September 10. The return date would depend on exactly how long I can extend the lease at my current residence but at the very least I have a starting date that I can use for contingency planning. Hopefully I get the yes or no verdict soon so that I know whether to start going all-in with the planning or to just shelve everything until next year.
