Hakodate 2019: Classic Trams

Hakodate has a simple tram network that runs through the city and while most of the trams have a more modern look there’s a small chance you might be able to catch a ride on one with a classic design. These trams kind of remind me of the old-school cable cars in San Francisco and the staff on them are dressed like it’s the early 1900s. I was lucky enough to ride one of these classic trams a single time and while they’re a bit smaller than the regular trams it was still a cool little experience.
