Itoshima 2019: Getting lunch at the London Bus Cafe

As I continued cycling along the coast of the Itoshima Peninsula I got a late lunch at the London Bus Cafe. This little seaside cafe has a pair of red double-decker buses that were imported from London and converted into eating areas, and there’s also normal outdoor seating. For my meal I got a small boxed lunch, which included a hotdog, chips, and a drink. The staff asked me where I was from and I told them that I was American. Apparently they get Westerners every now and then but it had been a while since any Americans had stopped by. I would have loved to stick around after finishing my meal and go down to the nearby beach but it was now mid-afternoon and I needed to get back on the road again, so once I was done eating I quickly used a nearby restroom and then resumed my cycling tour around Itoshima.
