Okayama 2019: My guesthouse in the Okayama region

While I was exploring the Okayama region I was staying at a guesthouse in one of the suburbs just south of Okayama. Normally I don’t photograph the places that I lodge in while traveling but this one had some nice Japanese-style accommodations and was in a really pleasant neighborhood. Spending a few minutes in the morning looking out on the garden while drinking some water or tea turned out to be a good way to start each day that I was there. Obviously since I was outside of Okayama I’d have to dedicate a little more time to reaching my sightseeing destinations than if I was inside the city but the experience I had at this guesthouse was good enough that I didn’t mind the extra train ride that I took every morning and evening.
