Uji 2019: Daikichiyama Observation Deck (大吉山展望台)

Before leaving Uji and returning to Kyoto I hiked up a hill to the Daikichiyama Observation Deck. From up there I caught a view of the town of Uji as the sun was going down and when I zoomed-in with my camera I was able to get a decent view of Byodoin Temple. My day trip to Uji had only lasted a few hours but it had been nice to escape the crowds of Kyoto and I was feeling ready to resume my normal sightseeing schedule the following day.
