Tokyo 2019: Hachiko Statue

If you’re ever in Shibuya be sure to keep an eye out for a statue of a dog near the southeast corner of Shibuya Crossing. This is a memorial to Hachiko, a local dog that became famous for waiting for his owner in the same spot every day, even after Hachiko’s owner passed away.
