Battlefield 2018

The next installment in the Battlefield franchise hasn’t yet been officially unveiled, however we’re already getting some rumors and reports on what it will be. Supposedly it will be called Battlefield V (the “V” seems to mean both “5” and “victory”) and will be set in World War 2. Personally, I would have preferred if the next Battlefield game was Bad Company 3, seeing as how Bad Company 2 was probably my overall favorite Battlefield game, but I’m also a lapsed Battlefield fan, so I’m probably not the right person to be making judgments on where the series is heading. I’ll be reading the reports on Battlefield V as they come out and whenever EA or DICE has a big reveal trailer it will certainly have my attention. The question will be whether or not what I read and watch is sufficient to get me back into the series and playing multiplayer on day 1.
