It was time for my final meal in Japan and I was going to go out in style. A minute north of Shibuya Station there’s a building that houses a department store and up near the top level are several restaurants including Katsumidori Seibu, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I had been to a few conveyor belt sushi restaurants in other parts of Japan and had really like my experiences at them so I figured I’d go to this restaurant for my last meal before leaving Tokyo. Katsumidori Seibu is a popular sushi restaurant in Shibuya but since I was there by myself I didn’t have to wait too long to get a seat. Like other conveyor belt sushi restaurants, you can grab plates that pass by in front of your or you can place orders for particular types of sushi using a tablet computer. Since this was my final meal I ate a lot of sushi and I made sure to try out some types that I hadn’t experienced previously. Thankfully the sushi at Katsumidori Seibu was pretty good and by the time I was done I was completely stuffed and quite satisfied. Going to Katsumidori Seibu for my final meal turned out to be a great decision and I’m glad I made it my final restaurant visit in Japan.
